Our Mission

Our mission statement:

We support our community by demonstrating the guiding principles of compassion, challenge and competition.

Community – We help mitigate the financial stresses that can impede treatment, medically and emotionally.

Compassion – we welcome all to our paddling program, minimizing barriers to participation where possible such as disability adaptations or equipment supply and usage. We commit to the underlying principles of social justice – namely equity, access and participation as evidenced by those referred to us for assistance by the Beaufort County medical community.

Challenge – We enable others to test the waters of this life affirming sport, encourage healing through its physical challenge and continue to discover new means of sustaining an income stream for the financial relief of those in need.

Competition – We seek athletic teamwork through recreational paddling and dragon boat competition – the embodiment of community, compassion and challenge.
