Team registration for Beaufort's DragonBoat Race Day is now open!
DragonBoat Race Day launches the very first day (Saturday, July 20th) of the 58th Annual Water Festival in Beaufort, SC, and is the newest addition to the list of Water Festival activities. DragonBoat Race Day will take place on the first Saturday of Water Festival (July 20th) right here at Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park in downtown Beaufort.

Cancer Survivor DragonBoat Racing
Local cancer survivors, and water sport enthusiasts who wish to support them, have formed a Beaufort mixed recreational and racing DragonBoat team. We offer male and female survivors the opportunity to "hit the restart button" by participating in this fabulous, team-centric wellness program out on the water.
Twenty paddlers sitting side-by-side in a dragon-headed 48 foot-long vessel, paddling furiously to the beat of an insistent drummer. The goal: physical wellness and psychological well-being through this thrilling, team-oriented support program that even offers opportunities to travel to competitions worldwide. Being cut, radiated and medicated by cancer treatments needs an offset.

the Beaufort International Film Festival 2012 Documentary & Audience Choice Winner and is winning film festival awards all over the country.
